Privacy

In short

You can browse the catalogue without giving us anything. We only receive details when you send us your order, and we use them only to reply to you about it. We do not sell them or use them for advertising. To see how the site is used, we count visits with Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics (see Visitor statistics below).

What we receive when you send your order

• The details you type in My order: your name, company (if you give it), city and any note.
• The part numbers and quantities in your order, their prices, and whether you chose WhatsApp, email or copy.
• A scrambled code made from your internet address. It cannot be turned back into the address; we use it only to stop the form being flooded with messages (at most 10 orders an hour from one connection).

The message itself goes through WhatsApp or your own email app, which you choose and send yourself. Those apps have their own privacy terms.

Why we keep it

To reply to your order, confirm availability with you and keep a record of what was asked for.

Visitor statistics

• Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, roughly where from (city, not address), on which device and browser, how they found us, and what they do on the site: searches, categories and trucks opened, parts added to an order and orders sent. It sets cookies in your browser, and Google receives your internet address to work out the city. We never send it your name, company, phone number or notes. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits and page speed without cookies and without identifying you.
• To stop Google Analytics, block cookies for this site in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

Where it is kept

• The website runs on Cloudflare, which also counts visits.
• Visitor statistics are kept by Google (Google Analytics).
• Orders are stored in a database at Supabase and emailed to us through Brevo.
• These companies process the data for us only, under their own data protection terms. Some of their servers may be outside India.

What stays on your device

Your order, your name, company and city (so you do not have to type them again), and whether you chose the card or list view are saved in your browser on this device only. Clear your browser's site data to remove them. The site still works if your browser blocks this.
